A Happy Union
It is my great pleasure to announce to the world at large that Melissa and I are getting married on June 30th, 2004! Mel is the love of my life and everything I’ve hoped for in a companion, and I look forward to a long life together with her.
We first met at a church activity shortly after she moved into the condo complex I was living at. She caught my eye from the beginning, and before long we were good friends. As time passed, our friendship grew stronger until we both realized that we had fallen in love. On the evening of Easter Sunday, I asked Melissa to marry me. Since then, life has been a whirlwind of planning and anticipation, with hardly a dull moment.
Now the day has nearly arrived, and we’re both very excited. I’m not going to code up a nifty countdown timer like Dan did, but rest assured that I’m checking the calendar frequently!
